Check out fun short interview with Black Lodge made over Twitter
@TheShanti and @BlackLodgeUS talked about new album, new videos and new line up |
“When I first started touring, I was looking for a setup that could create a distinct tone that would sound like an exploding star when cranked up but that could also be versatile enough to calm a stadium of people. I play on a custom guitar that was inspired by Mosrite so finding Orange was like finding a buried treasure. Orange has allowed me to find my own sound and their continued evolution of amplification ensures me that as long as orange is around, I’ll be able to make the music I love.”

The hills were alive with the sound of music last Friday night but it didn't resemble anything Julie Andrews might have performed. The industrial rock band Black Lodge set up their equipment at Dog Hill Vineyard in Buellton and rocked out into the early-morning hours filming a music video for their song "Devour." The video is being released Sept. 2 in advance of the band's appearance at the legendary West Hollywood music club The Viper Room.

“I dug deep and asked myself what would he want to see happen. His best friend from childhood, Bobby, told me that Ventura was very grateful because I helped some of his biggest dreams come true and that he would want me to continue with the band. And when I’d visit Ventura at the cemetery, it felt right to continue. It didn’t feel like I was trying to convince myself.”

Hai formato la band tre anni fa. Quali erano i tuoi obiettivi?
